Thank you for such a comprehensively informative post , Cody. It's clear that you have mastered this path and teach it beautifully.
My only constructive feedback is that since it's sooooo much information, I would have loved this presentation as a 3-part series so that I could digest and savor each impactful section (just my personal preference).
Love the multi-part! Noticed that I tend to write longer than I would like and I’m working on that as well.
Since there are SO many amazing creatives to read here, I tend to read pieces preferably under 5m long, and max 8m long. Otherwise my brain gets saturated and I can’t absorb the words LOL
The "got out of unstable env." bit is the hardest and most overlooked part, so congrats! I'm so happy to hear you've made so much progress! The Dalai Lama is notorious for meeting with Neuroscientists to talk about how it crosses over with Buddhism, so I'm a fan myself! Highly recommend "Buddhism Meets Neuroscience" the book!
I love the idea of wearables, but I don’t see any there there.
I looked at a Whoop with an eye towards tracking my sleep quality. It turns out there’s no underlying programming in the whoop to accurately measure your sleep. (I confirmed this with a sleep expert at UC Berkeley.)
Why would I expect it to be any better at measuring HRV?
I really enjoyed the focus on the anxious achiever. Recognized myself & was able to see how some of the work I’m doing isn’t supporting that aspect of myself.
Very informative read. I actually like the longer form so you can see the roots and steps on what to do to untangle yourself.
I was an anxious achiever and I took my own path to healthier behavior.
As you break things down, I see the actions (or lack of actions) that kept me in a stressed-out state - toxic work environment, lack of boundaries - and how I had to create safety to let my body come down to the green - moving out of my house.
This serve as a good reminder because it is so easy to fall back to old patterns.

Thanks , Cody, keep up the good work! ✨🥰🙏
I’ve done multi-part posts before, I might have to bring them back! What’s the ideal reading length for you?!

Honestly, Buddhist practice has brought me to green in recent years when i got out of an unstable environment. Man. This was eye opening.

Def gonna check that out! Thank you
I’ve been an anxious achiever my whole life and I can’t wait to fix this. Thank you for the inspiration, Cody! 🙏
Of course! You’ve got this! I have too, it’s totally possible!
Looking forward to reading this, Cody. Saved it for later 👌🏻
Thanks for letting me know! How'd you like it?!
