Incredible helpful thanks! After reading this article I realized that with every email there comes a kind of pressure for me to meet estimations. With more than 100 emails receiving per day this means many stressful moments.

One thing that works quite well is to delegate things that feel extra stressful to people that have the possibility to feel more neutral about it. As I‘m working in the e-commerce business the first thing I delegated was „lost or damaged parcels“. I just couldn’t stand the pressure I felt with each parcel that did not arrive in time, got lost or damaged. It’s like I feel the anger or worry of each customer myself. A colleague can work with this very easily without having intense emotions about it. For him it’s just a task that needs to be done. And texts like yours help being aware of these issues and finding ways to cope with it, thank you very much!

That's amazing! Delegation is such a powerful tool, and I've never really thought about it as a way to cope with people-pleasing/empath tendencies, but this is such a great point! I'm glad to hear you figured this one out for yourself, you are very resourceful!

I feel you, it's so easy for resentment to build when we're solely focused on other's needs, wants, and desires!
