Welcome to the Mind, Brain, Body Digest!
The MBB Digest is where women heal heartbreak & rewire their brains to attract calm, secure love using neuroscience.
It’s built for women who look like they’re “doing fine” on the outside, but inside, something still feels unfinished.
You’ve rebuilt parts of your life after heartbreak. Your career is moving. Your health is better. Your friendships are solid.
And yet… when it comes to love, you still feel stuck in what I call The Gap.
Not fully over your ex. Not fully open to someone new.
Scared of being alone and just as scared of repeating the same heartbreak.
The MBB Digest exists for this moment.
Who is the MBB Digest For?
The MBB Digest is for:
Hyper-Independent, High-Achieving Women
You became self-reliant because it was safer. You’re capable, ambitious, and live in your masculine because it works but now intimacy, softness, and receiving love feel foreign. You want to open emotionally and reconnect with your feminine without losing your power.
Emotionally Intelligent but Emotionally Guarded Women
You understand your patterns and know the theory. You’ve done the work — yet your nervous system still runs the show. You want connection, but emotional availability feels blocked at the body level.
Women with Attachment Trauma or Complex PTSD
Relational trauma wired your nervous system for survival. You’re often hyperactivated, overwhelmed, or shut down, and traditional healing hasn’t stuck. You need trauma-informed work that actually meets your nervous system where it is.
Women Ready for Depth, Not Surface-Level Healing
You don’t want more information, affirmations, or gentle platitudes. You want neuroscience-backed insights paired with clear, actionable tools and practical steps that help you regulate your nervous system, heal trauma, interrupt old patterns, and implement change in real life.
What to Expect
Every week, you’ll learn how your brain, nervous system, and attachment patterns keep you emotionally tethered to the past and how to finally create real closure after heartbreak, not the “time will heal it” kind that never actually does.
This isn’t about becoming “better” or “more healed.”
Inside the MBB Digest, you won’t just learn why you’re stuck, you’ll learn what to do next, how to do it, and how to make it stick at the nervous system level.
It’s deep, science-backed, action-oriented work for women who are ready to close the chapter for real.
It’s about finishing what was left emotionally unfinished so you can trust yourself again and re-enter love without dragging old pain forward.
Who Am I?
The MBB Digest is written by me, Cody Isabel!
I have a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, training in a trauma therapy called Interal Family Systems Psychotherapy, and I’ve spent the last decade teaching women how to regulate dysregulated nervous systems, close unfinished heartbreak, and stop repeating old relationship dynamics using neuroscience.
I’ve worked with women after breakups for thousands of hours inside my company Mind, Brain, Body Lab, through our one-on-one coaching, groups like Becoming HER, and my social media content (@mindbrainbodylab), which reaches over 10+ million people weekly.
My mission is simple: Help 1 billion people create happiness and purpose through science-backed tools, innovative tech, and nervous system-first healing.
The first step towards this mission is helping women fully close the chapter on heartbreak, so they stop carrying it into the love they want next.
I lead with compassion but hold nothing back. If you want to be coddled, I’m not your guy.
If you’re ready to stop managing symptoms and actually change your nervous system and behavior, this is where women come when nothing else has worked.
Best Issues
Still wondering if the MBB Digest is for you?
Here are a few of our most-loved issues to give you a taste:
Is Trauma Actually Stored in the Body? (No.): Trauma shows up in nervous system patterns, not body “storage,” and healing needs mind-body approaches.
Why Rest Feels Like Failure—And How to Rewire Your Brain: High achievers link worth to productivity, making rest feel wrong.
Why "Trauma-Informed" Therapy Might Be Keeping You Stuck: “Trauma-informed” care isn’t trauma therapy—it lacks methods that actually heal trauma at the root.
Why You Can’t Stop People-Pleasing: The Neuroscience of Fawning: People-pleasing is a nervous system survival response—not a flaw—and can be rewired through awareness and boundary practice.
And yes—when you subscribe to the MBB Digest, you get full access to our entire archive (100+ issues, framework & guides).
